BREATHING ACTIVISM. BREATHING HISTORY.

30.09.2023. Part of Metropolis Performing Landscapes Non-Stop. Photos Jeppe Michael Jensen.

A research into site specific relational breathing relating inner sensation and atmospheres with space place. Allowing for connecting in new ways inside and together with each other. This performance took place in the bunker used during the 1st and 2nd World War and in this way a carrier of heavy dense history. The performance begin inside the bunker giving breath and sound inside this space. Afterwards we walked to the roof of the bunker gathering connecting our mutuals experiences giving them breath and life sounds copying each other’s sounds in mutual somatic experiences.
